It may not be quite as glamorous as when
you are looking for just that perfect dress and flowers but shopping
for your wedding photographer should be given as much, if not more
attention. Your wedding album should reflect everything about your
wedding, your dress, the flowers, your cake, food, rings, family and
friends. Your wedding album will be your keepsake for the rest of
your life.
Clothing is one the most important
ingredients in determining the look of your portrait. You don't want
your portrait to be dated by current fashions, be simple and
classic. Avoid eye catching patterns, colors and prints. A solid
color works best. Black, muted, solid colors and even all white work
very well. Bold colors can work also. However, have an overall look.
Remember, you are the most important element of your
portrait, not the clothing you are wearing.
Congratulations on your engagement! It's
a time where your will, wit, organizational skills and humor will be
put to the ultimate test. Weddings take a lot of planning and you
will likely spend over 100 hours on the phone, visiting with
vendors, planning and chasing after details. To help you get off to
a good start, we've put together a complete outline of things you'll
need to do for your wedding and the approximate time line for
getting those things done!
